Square Enix today announced that
Final Fantasy XII will hit stores on February 23rd in Europe and other PAL territories.
To whet your appetite Square Enix has released a new set of screenshots. SPOnG is feeling benevolent so we've decided to share them at the bottom of the page.
John Yamamoto, President and CEO of Square Enix commented:
"The PAL launch of Final Fantasy XII is our biggest release since Square Enix started self publishing across Europe last year. The game has already received Edge magazine's Best Game award for 2006, and with over 4 million copies already sold in other territories, we are looking forward to launching it to our fans in Europe and around the world."
This latest installment of one of gaming's biggest franchises is exclusive to the PS2.
The turn-based RPG series has sold over 70-million units worldwide since its launch in 1987, not to mention spawning a slew of merchandise and a massive cult following. For more on
