We’ve just unearthed an exclusive news tidbit from long-standing UK publisher, System 3, which has just informed us that it plans to bring out two PAL-exclusive Wii launch titles on December 8th.
Both
Gottlieb Pinball Classics and oddly-named brain-game/puzzler
Super Fruitfall will be amongst the games on shelves next week.
Gottlieb Pinball in particular sounds like it might well be worth a look as it makes full use of the WiiMote and Nunchuck controllers, so you can shoot balls as normal while tilting the table with the motion-sensing controller. SPOnG looks forward to seeing the game as soon as we can get it to see it at System 3, hopefully prior to ‘Wii-E’ day (see what we did there?).
Super Fruitfall is being positioned as a 'brain-game meets puzzler', with the objective being to eliminate every piece of fruit by moving them around a puzzle grid until they become grouped together. The fruit can only be moved by rotating the play area in one of three ways, so the strategy is in using your brain to employ the most-effective way to get the fruit to fall and special bonuses are awarded for spectacular combinations. Apparently it’s a “unique puzzle game, ideally suited to the Wii’s casual family-gaming philosophy”.
Gottlieb Pinball Classics will retail at £29.99 while
Super Fruitfall comes in at a bargainous £24.99.
