Amazon’s Wii pre-orders went on sale in the UK earlier today and sold out in two minutes flat. So, if you have still to pre-order your Wii, then SPOnG would advise that you go out very quickly and find one of the very few non-specialist gaming retailers that are still taking pre-orders.
Unless you feel like camping out on your local high street on Thursday December 7th in the freezing December cold that is! If you are, then for goodness’ sake (a) make sure to wear thick pants and (b) tell us on the forum and we can organise some hot soup.
SPOnG has been spending an inordinate amount of time playing ALL the Wii launch titles over the past few days and we will be bringing you our Wii launch review splurge in the very near future.
Right now we’re going back to get stuck into EA’s Madden. Which, rather surprisingly, is very good indeed! Although we’re still none the wiser as to the baffling rules of American (so called) ‘Football’.

Looks as if there's gonna be a rush come next month. Glad I preordered early, now that the tv ads are gaining pace more people are jumping on it.
Hey you talk of Madden on Wii, and I agree from what I've seen of it it does look like a game to check out. Bravo to EA on it. I'll look for the Spong review.
