WWE Champion and ‘Hot Wrestling Mama’ Pimp New Smackdown
Making appearances at GAME in Nottingham later today
THQ and GAME have just sent word that WWE Champion John Cena and his ‘hot wrestling mama’ fighting partner WWE Diva Maria (pictured) will be appearing at Nottingham’s branch of GAME later today celebrating the launch of the publisher’s regular Christmas cash-cow, WWE SmackDown vs RAW 2007.
If you’re a fan of SmackDown and/or wrestling and live in Nottingham and, for whatever personal reasons, would like to go along and get your photo taken with two WWE stars, then the shenanigans kick off at 3pm later today.
The pair are there to greet fans, sign copies of the game and give away prizes to the crowds. It seems that the retailer is expecting quite a demand for the event, as it has allocated 500 tickets – so it could well develop into a full-blown WWE riot!
Peter O’Shaughnessy, Regional Manager at GAME said, “We are all very excited to have John Cena in our store in the Victoria Centre, Nottingham. WWE has always been a popular sport in this country and across Europe, and with new high-resolution textures and motion-captured technology we can offer customers the deepest and most realistic wrestling experience ever.”
