Rainbow Six Vegas Demo on Live in Europe

But not yet in the States. *Snigger!

Following the earlier announcement of GRAW 2, there's yet more Tom Clancy goodness from Ubisoft this week, with the demo of Rainbow Six Vegas being made available on Xbox Live. Only, ironically, not in Vegas.

Us Europeans are so used to getting hardware and software releases after our American and Japanese cousins, that it makes a nice change to get something first for once!

The deep irony that an American game, written by a well-known American author and set in the most American of cities being made available to Europe first, is certainly one to cherish.

The Rainbow Six Vegas demo weighs in at 477MB. The reason for the delay in the US is something to do with some exclusive covermount with the US Official Xbox mag. Ho hum! We’ve got it here, which is all we care about right now.

SPOnG will be previewing the game in full next week, checking out the face-mapping features and more. The final 360 version is due to ‘hit the streets’ (as PR people are so fond of saying) on 24th November, with PC and PSP versions following in December and the PS3 version out at launch next March.

See SPOnG’s Rainbow Six Vegas page for all the latest screens, art and info.
