SPOnG welcomed the earlier news seeping out of the Ubisoft camp that Tom Clancy fans are due another helping of the BAFTA-scooping GRAW next spring, plus the fact that Ubi has also committed to seven further Wii titles, one being a major new IP.
However, the law of sod dictates that for every ounce of good news for gamers emanating from publisher’s quarterly financial reports, there’s an equal and opposite amount of not so good news…
..and universal news-balance is restored by… Assassin’s Creed and Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway, two of this year’s E3 highlights for many, have both slipped into mid or late 2007. Bah!
Both were originally scheduled for March 2007, but now it seems that GRAW 2 is to be Ubisoft’s main AAA-title for next spring.
