Game Boy Advance Sees The Light

A lighting and magnification accessory for Game Boy Advance will be released this March in Japan to coincide with the launch of the handheld console. The product, developed by Sunseibu Entertainment, will both magnify and illuminate the 2.5” TFT reflective screen. The accessory is custom-moulded with a moveable arm that pulls the magnifier over the screen. The peripheral is said to improve on-screen visibility for the console, and will also reduce eyestrain, particularly when playing in poorly lit areas.

Reports suggest that when Game Boy Advance launches in Europe this July, a UK-developed equivalent to the Light Boy Advance is likely to receive a simultaneous release.
