SPOnG cannot wait to play Rockstar's erstwhile Bully, now Canis Canem Edit, which finally arrives on PS2 later next month. And whilst we are still not entirely convinced about the name change, the game itself really is shaping up to be something very special indeed.
The latest trailer released today shows off more of the various naughty pranks that your character Jimmy Hopkins can get upto within the game. You'll also see cranky old Principal Crabblesnitch (nod to Harry Potter there Rockstar) telling you all about his wonderful seat of learning.
The controversy that originally surrounded the game seems to have died down somewhat, now that it has finally been announced that the game is hardly more controversial than other fictional schoolday yarns, from Just William through to Grange Hill and, most recently, the aforementioned Harry Potter. It's little more than a videogame about navigating the perils of contemporary school life – with little Jimmy H having to deal with the bullies, the nerds, the jocks and the preppies, amongst the many other easily recognisable schoolyard cliques you'll encounter in the game.
