Hot poop from KOEI has just popped into our inbox regarding the company's upcoming PS2 offerings Disgaea 2 and Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny, along with what should turn out to be the PSP sales-boosting Gitaroo Man Lives! As well as a bunch of tempting new screenshots for each, details have been made available regarding the extra bits and bobs the games will receive as European releases.
First up, and scheduled for a European release this October, Disgaea 2 will come bundled with a bonus soundtrack CD. This bonus item did not come with either the US or Japanese releases of Disgaea 2, which is something of a nice surprise for us normally hard-done-by Euopeans.
Secondly, the grandly-titled Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny will also be accompanied by a soundtrack CD. The game has also been tweaked for its UK release to offer gamers the ultimate Atelier Iris challenge. Taking into account the user feedback received after the game's Japanese and US releases, the makers have gone back and improved monster AI and balance issues, resulting in a more rewarding and challenging game experience.
Lastly, there's Gitaroo Man Lives! which arrives for PSP next month. A game of this magnitude really doesn't need any extras to tempt us - Gitaroo Man on PS2 was hugely popular for more than a few rainy lunchtimes way back - but there are two never-seen-before levels in the PSP version for maximum finger-mangling action. Der-dangggg!!!
