Lost Planet was a big hit for Capcom at this year's E3, and the single player demo that's up on Xbox Live has already attracted more than 400,000 downloads since the show back in May. So you could say that more than a couple of people are getting more than a little bit excited about this innovative-looking Sci Fi shooter.
With this in mind, Capcom has just announced that it will be showing off part of the multiplayer aspect of the game on a dedicated Lost Planet stand at the Leibzig Games Convention next month.
Attendees at the show will be able to indulge themselves in some four-on-four Lost Planet action on one of the game's multiplayer maps.
The game is set within the merciless frozen tundra of a hostile planet, where "humans struggle for survival as conflicts arise between man, the surrounding indigenous creatures and the monstrous beings that have invaded."
The game is due out, cannily enough, Q1 2007. Which means slap bang in the middle of the bleak mid/late winter.
