German Footballer Prefers DS to Football
Probably why they’re out of World Cup, picture evidence inside.
Any excuse to celebrate the fact that Germany are no longer in the World Cup is good. Forza Italia!
So with this in mind, SPOnG says thanks to the chaps over at colour rebellion for drawing our attention to this one. SPOnG suspects that one of the reasons Germany have crashed out of the World Cup (hurrah!) is because one of their leading players - Philipp Lahm - clearly prefers playing on his new DS Lite to playing actual real football.
That is, if this new DS Lite advert is to be believed. There are a few questions which we need answering, however. If you look closely at the picture to the right, you will soon become bothered by a few glaring inconsistencies.
Firstly, if he is sitting in a puddle of mud, how come his DS Lite is still shiny white? When we play our handhelds whilst sitting in puddles of mud, they always get filthy dirty.
Secondly, as one forum poster over on 4 colour rebellion also pointed out, “Is it normal to see the smoke machine?”

Not sure what's so exciting about having the host nation out of the cup. It can be noted that they made it further than England, who by the way couldn't score a penalty shot if their life depended on it...
