SPOnG has had a long-running, on/off love affair with Lara Croft, as have millions of other young (and not so young) men across the globe. In this respect, it would be fair to say, that Ms Croft might be considered a bit of a slapper (in certain uncivilised circles, you understand).
Well, the good adventuress is putting out again this week, as the PSP version of Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend hits shelves this Friday. Why PR types insist on using the terminology ‘hit the shelves’, we do not know. We suppose it sounds better than saying, “The game will be delivered to a retail outlet near you and stacked on the shelf by a sales operative this Friday.”
Whatever. If you own a PSP, you are more than likely to want to go down your local games store and have a gander at the PSP's Tomb Raider: Legend this coming weekend.
“The PSP version of Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend, features all of the adventure, puzzles and excitement gamers expect from a Tomb Raider title, plus a number of exclusive game modes such as a wi-fi head to head mode and two player treasure hunt, plus a host of Bonus Reward Content,” says the Eidos press release. SPOnG likes the sound of Bonus Reward Content.
Tomb Raider: Legend is the seventh title to be released in the Tomb Raider series, which launched way back in 1996 and has - to date - sold over 28 million games.
