Namco Bandai’s Fighter Saint Seiya: The Hades Hits the Shelves
Lyon, France – 29 September 2006 – Atari today announced the launch of Saint Seiya: The Hades from Namco Bandai Games for PlayStation®2. Published by Namco Bandai Games and distributed in Europe by Atari, Saint Seiya: The Hades is available from today at retailers across Europe, ahead of the Japanese launch.

Saint Seiya: The Hades delivers an authentic anime fighting experience drawn directly from the masterful and widely revered Japanese manga and anime of the same name, the most greatly admired chapter of the legendary Saint Seiya saga. The game is loaded with new features and gameplay enhancements which Namco Bandai Games and the development team at Dimps have implemented following the release of Saint Seiya, Knights of the Zodiac: The Sanctuary in 2005 and the feedback from fans on what was the first ever Saint Seiya experience for the PlayStation 2.

Featuring mind-blowing super-fast battling which makes use of new range attacks, counter-attacks and blistering combos on a massive battle stage, the action in Saint Seiya: The Hades has been thoroughly fine-tuned to give the player tense and ferocious fights where one slip could spell the end, or one well placed combo could lay waste to any opponent. The result is a game truly worthy of the seminal Japanese anime which will have fans on the edge of their seats.

Saint Seiya: The Hades for PlayStation 2 is released across Europe today, in advance of the Japanese launch. For further information about Atari’s entire product line up visit www.atari.com.
