Summary

Angler’s Club: Ultimate Bass Fishing 3D

Angler’s Club: Ultimate Bass Fishing 3D brings the classic bass fishing title over to the realms of the Nintendo 3DS with more than 50 championship tournaments to compete in.

The player can compete via their own Angler’s Club or they can take the more relaxing route to fishing heaven and just experience the wide range of environments available in-game as an individual angler.

In both modes the 3DS’s analog stick controls and accelerometer are used to their fullest when hunting down and then reeling in the prey. Whether this calls for a delicate and silent approach to the difficult to track down but mighty bass, or for full throttle action when the fish are running, the motion controls and that circle pad will become second nature.

As any serious fishing buff knows, however, getting the right kit for the conditions and fish is key to success. Players can make use of realistic lures, reels, rods, line and other essential tackle to increase their chances of a successful hit and capture.

Of course, as it’s a game as the gamer plays they will also increase their fishing skills and knowledge. The 3DS’s built-in camera can also be used to capture their own faces in order to customise in-game characters for real personalisation.
