FIFA 15 won't happen for Wii U but it will see another Nintendo format

Bad news for Nintendo as Electronic Arts has basically dissed the Wii U for the forthcoming FIFA game release: FIFA 15.

It's actually worse than simply not making a version for the Nintendo format. EA is making a version to be made available for the older Wii unit.

Rumour has it that Sony is working on backwards compatibility for the PlayStation 4 that will operate separately to the PlayStation Now service.

According to Eurogamer, only PS3 titles are currently set to run through Sony's cloud-based streaming service. PS1 and PS2 games, apparently, are set for the more tried-and-tested practice of local software emulation.
