Headed up by managing director Barry Hatch, Funbox Media was established by employees of defunct publisher Zushi Games. The company's focus is to publish casual titles for DS, Wii and PC, along with the FlightSoft's "Fly To" range of FSX and FS2004 add-ons.
Funbox's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2010 title, "B.C. Kings" (PC).
The company has been involved titles released on the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, PC, 3DS/2DS, PSVita, Wii U, Wii, PS3, DS/DSi, PS2 and PSP. Of these, "The Cube" (Wii), "XBlaze Code: Embryo" (PSVita) and "Vegas Party" (PSVita) have been best selling titles.
The company is currently involved with the forthcoming 2019 release "Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch" (Switch).
