Ok, so over this past weekend the likes of penny arcade and joystiq both bothered to mention Eurogamers review of DOA4 in a positive light due to the fact that they are liek the only site in the world that didnt give the game a 9 out of 10 or higher. Not that it really matter but this chaps my ass quite severly as i wrote this review about a week before euro posted theirs and stasticly our scores are nearly identicle and the lists of complaints (baring the online play bit) are almost exactly the same. I even wrote to the PA guys pointing this out and have not so much as recieved an email in response let alone a mention on the site. Not to say we need PA traffic to keep us a flot here, this is just my own personal complaining.
anyway... i figured 5 days was enough time to wait to vocaly bitch and moan, so there it is... feel free to congradulate me on my honest and realistic review... as no one else seems to see fit to ;)

This is a good review, and I wasn't aware of the preferential treatment Eurogamer got. Mind you, if I ever saw a Eurogamer review that was written with a brain behind it I'd put it on my front page too:

"Fuxing Hell! Eurogamer actually wrote an article that isn't a load of wank!"

Not so bad when you look at it that way is it? ;D Of course as you say, SPOnG doesn't want attention from PA or anyone else - they/we write for the sake of writing and enjoying telling the truth. It just so happens this site has an air of notoriety to it, which is what makes this place so freaking cool, really.
