I like the opinions and I suppose I base my decisions on some of those opinions the scores are far less important.

I just read the reviews to see how well the game is doing, and compare it with other reviews. If most of the reviews are good, then it's a good game. Simple. And then I buy it, sometimes. But I mainly read them just too see if I agree with the scores (if I have the game).
