Jon Hare

Summary
Jon Hare is a British computer game designer, he is also a musician. He is one of the two founders of Sensible Software (Chris Yates is the other founder). Sensible Software is one of the most successful European games development companies of the late 80s and 90s.
Hare was co-designer and artist of all Sensible Software's hits before 1992, including Paralllax, Wizball and Wizkid. He was also the lead designer and creative director of Mega Lo Mania, the Sensible Soccer series and the Cannon Fodder series.
Hare, being a musician, is known for writing the music for a number of Sensible Software's games, including Cannon Fodder, Sensible Soccer and Sensible Golf
In 1999, Sensible Software was sold to Codemasters, since then, Hare has worked on a number of games such as Prince Naseem Boxing Frontline Command Real World Golf and Sensible Soccer 2006. Then, as co-owner of a development company Tower Studios, he has worked on a number of mobile games including Cannon Fodder and International Rugby 7s
Hare has been a voting member of BAFTA across all media since 2004.
As of June 2006, Jon contributes a weekly politics feature to UK video game radio show One Life Left.
Jon Hare is now working for Jagex as of July 2009, optimising and developing games.
Software Highlights from Credited Titles
Jon Hare's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1986 title, "Twister, Mother of Charlotte" (Spectrum 48K) as Lead Artist.
Jon's most recent involvement was as Lead Artist on the 1992 release "Sensible Soccer" (Amiga).
