The game is aimed at the 6-11 years market, and enables youngsters to learn key skills in reading, writing, spelling, maths, geometry, logic and problem-solving. Junior Brain Trainer delivers the goods in bite-sized chunks, making for a learning experience that's easier to digest!
Like other 'brain training' software available, players are encouraged to spend a small amount of time on the game each day to complete five different activities. Completing a missing word in a sentence, finishing a maths calculation, drawing a shape or matching up pairs is typical of the exercises on offer. Success is rewarded with unlockable content in the form of reading and writing activities such as stories where the reader has to blow into the microphone to turn the page; Hangman, requiring a mystery word to be solved; and Alphabet, to encourage kids to practice writing the alphabet. Players can also unlock a quiz to test their knowledge of mathematics and vocabulary, as well as a selection of entertaining minigames.
