Summary

Get ready to get really, really mucky in the latest iteration of developer Milestone's officially licensed MXGP series. Based on the 2016 motocross season, the game is really focused on something most of us don't pay much attention to but riders spend a LOT of time thinking about - the dirt beneath our feet.

This iteration has been rebuilt from the ground up using the Unreal Engine 4, with more attention than ever paid to serving up an authentic racing experience.

Mud, dust and dynamic formations in the dirt will have a huge impact on how you race, with the track noticeably changing while you race. This game is no MotorStorm-type arcade racer - it leans heavily towards the simulation end of the racing spectrum, and a big part of your job is maneouvring the weight of the bike around the track and grappling with changes in it that will be impacted by changing weather. Add in immersive sound effects that come across a lot like a massive chainsaw fight and you've got a very realistic experience.

Alongside all this players can expect enhanced customisation, all the official MXGP and MX2 2016 riders and the official tracks (including the MXoN) available in both the online and offline modes.

It's time to get down and dirty!
