Summary

If you thought The Walking Dead was a bleak vision of mankind struggling to survive in the face of forces massively beyond its control... Well, Attack on Titan makes it look like a cakewalk.

Based on the anime and manga it takes its name from, A.O.T.: Wings of Freedom closely follows the anime's first season. It's set in a world in which mankind lives in walled cities built to withstand the advances of the massive, eerily human-like titans.

The story revolves around three young people who survive the destruction of their city and eventually go on to join the Scout Regiment to do their bit to protect humanity from the overwhelming force of the titans. Players can relive the highs, the lows and, most importantly, the breathtaking action of the first series in Wings of Freedom.

As fans of the manga and anime would expect, defending humanity from the titans involves lots of fast-paced, airborne action using the Omni-Directional Manoeuver Gear and the player's blades. You'll be zipping around the sky using the (fully upgradable) kit and delivering badass blows in no time at all.

In the pacey Scout Mode players can team up with up to three companions online. Starting at camp, the team is able to upgrade their gear, change costumes and prepare resources for the coming battle. From there, the group leader can choose from a range of missions, taking place across a variety of environments including the Forest of Giant Trees, the Ruined Town, a Farm Village and even the Stohess District.

For players looking for action on a large scale, it doesn't get much bigger than the titans!
