Welcome to Disney's Magical Worlds! This is your chance to inhabit Disney's worlds exactly the way you want to.
To put it in language longer-serving gamers may understand, think Rune Factory meets Kingdom Hearts. In fact, developer h.a.n.d. has worked with Square Enix on the Kingdom Hearts in the past. To put it more simply, Disney Magical World is the sort of friendly simulation game that has made itself right at home on Nintendo games machines - except this one is choc full of Disney characters.
After creating their own personalised avatar, players wander into a central plaza and start interacting with the 60+ Disney characters that populate the game. Around the central plaza are more worlds based on the stories of Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Aladdin and more, but they're locked when you first start playing. Gamers can play how they like, catching fish with Donald Duck or maybe farming a patch of land for Winnie the Pooh's pal, Rabbit. Players looking for more adventure can go out on short campaigns and do battle with wands, too. All of this will earn stickers, and stickers unlock the new worlds, opening up yet more new worlds.
The game runs in real time. Not to the extent of something like Animal Crossing, demanding constant attention, but it reflects the time of day you're playing at, with certain events playing out accordingly.
Players will have their own cafe, which will bring them income to spend in Scrooge McDuck's department store. The cafe is even fully customisable, right down to how the staff are dressed!
To put it simply, Disney Magical Worlds is your opportunity to jump into Disney with both feet and find a warm, friendly environment with tons to do waiting for you.
