The Smurfs 2 - Wii U

You can't keep a good tiny blue fella down. The smurfs are back! And, with their second outing on the big screen, we have a game to enable gamers to play along with the action on the small screen. The game offers fans of all ages the opportunity to relive key moments from the film across iconic locations from the Enchanted Forest to the Eiffel Tower by way of New York City! Gamers even get to take things a step further, with action that goes beyond the movie in game-exclusive locations such as The Arctic Tundra and The Lava Jungle.

The game takes the form of a platformer. There's a twist, though, in that each smurf has their own unique ability. For example, Papa Smurf can lob magic potions to stun enemies, Grouchy Smurf can stomp foes or Vanity Smurf can strike a pose that enables other players to get to hard-to-reach areas. You'll need all these abilities, not to mention your wits, in order to do battle against enemies such as Azrael, Gargamel the Evil Wizard and Gargamel’s Naughties.

Players can stand up for the smurfs solo or get a friend involved. As they progress, a total of nine smurfs can be unlocked to play as and up to four users can muck in to play co-operatively! more
