Developed by DICE, the pack brings exclusive in-game content, new vehicles and challenging new assignments.
As the name suggests, Armored Kill, is not for the faint hearted and comes with five new drivable vehicles including mobile artillery, tanks, ATVs. It has more than 20 vehicle-specific unlocks to be fought for. Players will also have the ability to spawn in the all-new gunship.
The vehicles include two tank destroyers (M1128 Mobile Gun System for US as well as the 2S25 Sprut for RU); two mobile rocket artillery carriers (M142 HIMARS for US and also the BM-21 for RU); and there is also a Quad Bike.
To keep up with the new vehicular hardware Armored Kill also comes with a new game mode in the form of 'Tank Superiority'.
This is a sort of 'Capture the Flag/King of the Hill' outing sees the main battle tanks and tank destroyers fighting over, yes, a flag.
There is only one flag, there is also a small capture radius on each available map.
In terms of the map, Armored Kill also comes with the biggest map yet seen in the Battlefield 3 series with the huge Bandar Desert area to play through.
