Summary

Pirates and Nobles brings new items, traits, quests and objects to the The Sims Medieval as the Pirates of Aarbyville and the Nobles of Tredony arrive in the kingdom.

But neither party is here to make friends – a war breaks out and the gamer must choose sides. Gamers can then choose to play as king or queen, knight or blacksmith and, of course, pirate.

Quests include the search for the fountain of youth and the protection of the kingdom from an evil sorcerer.

As pirates are in play there are also treasure hunts to take part in, which require the use of new maps to find rare treasures (and new shovels to dig them up with). Along with the shovels are birds including falcons and parrots to be trained... and fiendish interrogation chairs to be deployed in the search for secret treasures.

Questing for treasures or attempting to retain nobility while all around the gamer dastardly deeds (or derring-do) are being carried out also entails fighting through new dangers and discovering hidden objects.

Other new items include more than 140 Pirate and Nobility themed objects, with a range of new pirate and noble outfits and hats.
