New Zealand is hosting the Rugby World Cup finals between September 9th and October 23rd 2011. That’s a long way to travel. So, 505 Games and HB Studios are bringing the 20 participating teams to the console.

In order to win the Webb Ellis Cup the gamer must guide their chosen nation from the opening rounds of the tournament right up to the nail-biting final hour in the final. With 13 venues to play in, the gamer will have to adjust their team selections to make the most of a variety of match conditions.

There are four offline game modes to choose from to hone the team, skills and selection choices these include: Tournament (in which up to four players can compete), International Test, Warm-Up Tour, Place Kick Shootout. These are complemented by multiplayer online in which the gamer must guide their chosen nation in true international competition.

Alongside these modes are the Player and Team Editor using which the player can modify team line-ups, create set plays, positional preferences and players details, attributes and abilities.
