Summary
Everybody’s Golf has been a staple of the PlayStation series of consoles since the debut of the original PSOne. So it’s no surprise to see that a new version of the colourful, inoffensive simulation game is hitting PlayStation Vita just in time for the handheld’s launch.
Owing to the new control inputs on Sony’s new portable, players can opt to take advantage of the Vita’s touch screen by interacting with objects and players in the game world. You can also reposition the tee and change your ball drop point this way. Use the dual analogue sticks to move the camera around and explore the field that you’re currently playing on, using the Triangle and Circle buttons to zoom from your putting position. Then it’s a case of choosing the right club and timing your button press to fire off your ball.
As its name suggests Everybody’s Golf is at its core a very gentle and simple approach to the sport that allows all kinds of players to enjoy. And it's easy as pie to get connected with friends or play a nice calming round of golf - either simultaneous or turn-based competitive play is possible online, as well as live tournaments and party chat.
