Summary
An adventure game set in the 13th Century, Cursed Crusade is an title that sees two warriors of very different characteristics battle their way through a ravaged and violent Europe to join Fourth Crusade in the Holy Land.
The gamer plays Denz, a holy Templar warrior. Joining him is Esteban, a less than honourable mercenary. But they have more than simple mortal matters to deal with as both characters are cursed and must quest to lift that burden from their souls.
The combat engine features more than 90 combos that make use of upwards of 130 individual weapons in timing-based counter system.
There are five “Chapters” of the quest for personal peace and revenge to play out in. These hold 40 individual missions that are played out among several of the most famous – and most war torn and plague ravaged cities in Europe.
In order to achieve the completion of the journey the gamer can use Templar Vision which enables them to increase their strength and fighting abilities by creating a vision of hell... that also results in a loss of their of humanity. Choices must be made.
The game can be played collaboratively using local split-screen or it can be taken online online so that the player’s collaborator can play as Esteban.
