Summary

Get to know what it feels like to be the daughter of Death himself. Not just the mystical idea of Death, nope. Venetica's heroine, Scarlett, is the offspring of Death incarnate, the walking, talking, possibly breathing physical form of Death.

The RPG is set in Renaissance Venice, but not the kind of Renaissance Venice anybody has seen before. This is a custom-designed, fantastical city riven by dark, mysterious and competing forces.

One of these - “Corpus” - is a secret council, that selects a new 'Death' on a regular basis. However, it has made a bad mistake in selecting the megalomaniac character of Victor, a crazed necromancer. With ambition and now the power invested in him by Corpus, Victor unleashes his madness on the city. Given that he is also immortal, Scarlett has a battle on her hands.

Realising their mistake, Corpus attempts to appoint a new Death... but Victor has other ideas, and battle commences. The only person who can stop him is Scarlett, daughter of the real Death, who at the outset of the game knows nothing of her powers.

It's the gamer's role to level the heroine up via a series of challenging and compelling adventures in a fully open world environment as she makes her way between the realms of the living and the dead.
