Summary

Most people have it all wrong about Pokemon. Yes, you're meant to venture out and Catch 'Em All to build your Pokedex, but you can't just walk around willy-nilly snatching wild creatures from their habitat. That's just inhumane, obviously. That's why there are Pokemon Rangers in the world, to protect these poor defenceless Pokemon from being used in evil schemes.

In Guardian Signs, you travel the land with your partner, Ukulele Pichu, to befriend your Pokemon friends, join forces with the Legendaries that hide in the world and foil the Pokemon Pinchers in their latest plan. You do this by taking part in missions that help benefit others – find missing people, stopping a natural disaster, that sort of thing.

These missions help progress the story, and each chapter contains challenges that will need the specific abilities of a particular Pokemon to accomplish. Circling these wild creatures on the Nintendo DS' touch screen will allow you to use your Capture Styler to catch and make friends with local Pokemon, and they will in turn help you in your adventure. Call certain Pokemon to action by drawing their Ranger Sign on the touch screen for some quick assistance.

You won't be exploring the land on your own, however. There are many other human Rangers out there in the world that can help team up with you to tackle special multiplayer missions. Join forces with up to three other players using the Nintendo DS Local Wireless Connection and save the land together!
