Summary
Alternative Software's Rugby League live brings together teams, tactics and competitions from the toughest leagues in the world. This is the League fan's chance to play in great tournaments such as the Australian National Rugby League's mate-versus-mate, state-versus-state annual nailbiter, The State of Origin (and its curtain raiser, City vs Country). You can also take part in English Super League bone-crunchers before bringing all you've learned to the climactic World Cup Finals.
With TV-style commentary, single and multiplayer off-line and on, Rugby League Live also introduces multiple camera angles and action replays as the gamer balances the speed of thought and strength of body required to pull off bone crunching tackles, offloads, fend offs, side steps, dummy moves and barn storming runs, while avoiding injuries and the sin bins.
There are more than 40 officially licensed teams including Leeds Rhinos, Sydney Souths, Catalans Dragons, Harlequins and Parramatta to name just four, playing in over 30 realistic classic world stadia. Gamers also have the ability to create your their own players, teams and competitions.
Once team, tactics and abilities have been sorted out, then it's time to go online with up to four pals to battle against other teams of League fans from all around the world.
