With all the different iterations and compilation packs released over the years, it's easy to think that the Guitar Hero formula may be getting a little bit stale. One look at Warriors of Rock will tell you otherwise – an all-new Quest Mode dictates the interesting new design style and rock-influenced presentation.
The story couldn't be better either – help the Demi-God of Rock take down “The Beast” by transforming the familiar characters of Guitar Hero into awesome monsters. Play songs in the traditional way – with a variety of instrument peripherals – to unlock these alter-egos, tackle The Beast and save the land of rock n' roll.
Alongside the legendary art style and the intriguing Quest Mode, Quickplay has been enhanced to provide 13 unique gameplay challenges for each and every song on the game's tracklist, as well as most of the importable and downloadable tracks for Guitar Hero: World Tour.
And the tracklist is the largest that has appeared on disc. Over 90 tracks are available to play right out of the box, including songs from A Perfect Circle, Aerosmith, AFI, Alice Cooper, The Cure, Def Leppard, DragonForce, Five Finger Death Punch, Foo Fighters, KISS, Metallica, Rise Against, Slipknot, Twisted Sister and ZZ Top. Get ready to rock out hardcore.
