War is a risky business. But not when engaged with friends! Men of War: Assault Squad features a brand new co-operative skirmish game mode and the ability to join the fight as Japan, for the first time in the strategy combat series. If you’d rather, of course, you can always still play as either the Russians, Germans, Americans or the Commonwealth instead though.

The original Men of War: Assault Squad game sees you taking part in strategic battles during the height of World War II, with the option to play from many different viewpoints and, as a result, take control of many different styles of army units. You can play the game using the traditional mouse method, or you can use the game’s unique “direct control” feature to control individual units using the keyboard’s directional keys.

The new skirmish mode offers more than just another way to game. You’ll actually get to choose from a variety of scenarios against intelligent AI opponents, and experience different historical settings and battlegrounds each time, making sure the battles never get old.

Alongside the new mode, this expansion pack features new maps and settings, improved multiplayer balancing, overhauled infantry squads and more realistic weapon behaviour. Get back on the battleground and see history unfold. more
