Summary

Dragon Ball Z has an absolutely massive fan following, both in Japan and internationally. Just look at the success of Spike's last fighting game, Raging Blast, which pitted all of the most popular characters from the manga and anime against each other in extreme Super Saiyan madness.

Now, with a raft of improvements, Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 promises even more destructive action with animated beefcakes sporting pretty gold hair and strained expressions. Top of the list of changes is in the storytelling, which ditches traditional cutscenes with in-battle sequences, keeping players immersed in the gameplay as the fight dynamically changes.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 can also lay claim to one of the largest fighting rosters in gaming history, with over 90 playable characters to choose from. More than 20 of these are brand new additions to the Raging Blast series too. Stages have more destructibility and interesting new arenas will allow you to up the ante on your opponent. New camera angles and a reworked combo system will also offer a brand new element to play.

Fans of the series will find plenty to do here too, with seven massive game modes available complete with unlockable bonuses to extend gameplay. Animations have been improved and the whole thing runs at a blazing 60fps, and the presentation of the game has been fine-tuned to present the ultimate title for Dragon Ball fanatics everywhere.
