Now it's Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series that gets the jump to the big – and small – screen.

Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief sees the titular hero discover that he is one of the successors to the legendary Greek demigods of legend, and alongside several classmates he must battle for survival in a world ruled by modern-day gods.

The game itself is a tactical role-playing adventure, piecing together the journey across America as Percy and his demigod friends go in search of Zeus' master lightning bolt. Along the way, you'll need to build the ultimate fighting team in order to topple various enemies.

Friends such as Annabeth and Grover each have their own special abilities that relate to their supernatural powers. But each character also has a disadvantage depending on the powers and skill of the opponent, and it is this information you have to weigh up in building your demigod army. Combinations of different elements and characters will lead to stat boosting and other benefits.
