Summary

Gotta Catch 'Em All! Pokemon, eh? It gets more and more difficult to keep up with counting the little blighters as each new game introduces brand new creatures to snare and do battle with. With some of the very first games in the series on the old Game Boy handhelds though, it makes it a challenge for most Pokemon Masters to fully complete the set.

That's where Pokemon SoulSilver comes in, introducing a new generation of Pokelovers to what is perceived as one of the best entries in the franchise – the original Gold and Silver on the Game Boy Color. As such, you'll be once more journeying throughout the land of Johto to fill up your Pokedex, encountering critters that you won't be able to find in any other Pokemon version.

It's not just a tarted up rehash though. The DSi's touch screen, camera and other useful features are taken advantage of too. You can see and interact with various Pokemon outside of battle, allowing one of them to follow you around as you wander the world map.

The game even comes packed with a Pokewalker – a device that lets your Pokemon follow you wherever you walk. Secret routes, new items and hidden Pokemon can only be discovered using the Pokewalker accessory, so you can stay active as well as engage in creature battles.
