Were you thinking that the story of Assassin's Creed II ends with the console game? Ezio travels to this side of Europe to rescue fellow assassins held captive - it is believed to be the work of the Inquisition, but our protagonist soon uncovers a plot by the Templars to sail west for the New World.
Assassin's Creed II: Discovery takes a departure from the free-roaming experience and bases gameplay in a platform style, allowing Ezio to perform unique acrobatic moves to overcome increasingly challenging obstacles. Speed is also important, as you need to sneak through environments and not be overwhelmed by enemies.
With realistic animations for both Ezio and his foes, you can really get stuck into the action and cause some carnage. Of course, players must be nimble as well as fast and furious - arrows can come flying towards you at great speed and only the most agile will be able to truly evade capture.
The Nintendo DSi allows for an additional surprise. Take a photo of yourself or anything else using the built-in camera, and you can place them directly into the Assassin's Creed II: Discovery game as 'WANTED' posters. Have Ezio travel through foreign lands and spot your cat being hunted down for treason! << less
