Summary

Had your fill of cake already? No? Good, because Fat Princess on the PlayStation Portable will let you take your online team battles on the road. Portable cake, yum. For those that haven't played the original PlayStation 3 downloadable title, Fat Princess pits a red and blue team against one another – the goal being to rescue each other's fair maiden from the opposing team's castle.

The mission isn't quite so easy however, as the opposing team can fatten said princess with cake, making her harder to carry alone. That's where the team aspect comes in, providing support and beating down foes that try to stop you. All the while, you must defend your castle from the enemy doing exactly the same. You both have several different classes to control, such as Warrior, Mage, Priest, Ranger and Worker.

In addition to all of the features of the PS3 version - albeit cut down – the PSP version supports eight-player online rather than 32 - Fistful of Cake adds several new modes and maps, including locales such as Forest, Canyon and Volcano. There is also a Grim Reaper mode that sees for how long each player can become a powerful scythe-wielding killing machine.

Want to go hardcore? In Dilapidated mode you start the game with only one hat, with each team working to earn the other classes of hat in order to win. Demolition is a game that puts everyone's fate in bombs, and Jailbreak is a challenge to control and maintain the most outposts.
