As the Nintendo DS game to complement the Wii release, Spore Hero Arena sees you creating a fighting fit alien creature ready to save the galaxy and take on an evil force that threatens life itself. A totally unique story set in the same galaxy as the Wii’s Spore Hero means that you get a familiar setting without repeating gameplay on your handheld.

There are over 150 creature parts to collect in the vast galaxy that can be explored, and as you find new planets and locations around the system you can select your Hero to compete in a variety of arena battles and dangerous challenges. By becoming the Galactic Champion, you have to power to save the entire galaxy!

They won’t be easy though, with arena battle ranging from 4-creature battle royales to capture the crown style challenges, there’s every chance that your Hero could fail in its quest if you don’t adapt it with different parts and abilities. Your creature can summon over 15 different Bio-Power attacks, which lay the smack down on any nasty enemy that dares challenge you. Lightning strikes and ground stomps are just a taste of some of the Bio-Powers you get to control.

And once you’re done with the story, you can engage in a massive 4 player wireless battle with your mates, and take the game online with 2-player Wi-Fi battles. Take on the galaxy’s worst punks and become a real gladiatorial hero! << less
