Summary
After 12 years spent haunting Sony's PlayStation consoles, the Suikoden series has finally made it to the Nintendo DS!
The game follows the brilliantly-named 108 Stars of Destiny, a group of warriors with more than a little hocus pocus up their sleeves, as they take on the One King as he tries to wreak havoc across the universe. Epic storytelling is most certainly the order of the day here. As the player gathers their group of heroes, they'll enter into a battle that spans a mind-boggling number of parallel worlds in the Million World universe.
Perhaps the most intriguing feature of the game is its new system of levelling up. Using the DS's Wi-Fi connection, players can send their characters off on quests that other members of the Suikoden: Tierkreis community can complete for them. When your character eventually makes their way back, they'll be armed with new abilities and new treasures! Not only will community play a massive part in showing you the scope of what Suikoden: Tierkreis can offer - you'll also be able to visit a massive array of worlds and cultures as you explore the multiverse.
We weren't kidding when we said expect something big. Suikoden: Tierkreis will expand the way you think about handheld role-playing games.
