Summary

It's a long, hard road to becoming a masterful chef, fraught with hazards and danger. They also reckon that the best way to lose money is to open your own restaurant. Fortunately Supervillain Studios, the developer behind PlayStation Network hit flOw, and Zoo Digital are giving you the chance to try your hand as a chef and restaurateur for no more than the cost of a Wii game with Order Up!

Players start their career as a humble cook at a fast food eatery, flipping burgers. You'll quickly learn, however, that preparing beef patties is no way to make a living. From there, you'll open a restaurant all of your very own and try your hand at a range of culinary styles ranging from Mexican to haute cuisine.

You can use the Wii Remote to engage in a range of cooking activities a la Cooking Mama - but you'll get a deeper experience than just preparing garnishes and adding salt. You'll also need to manage your restaurant. Don't like chopping veg? No problem! Get one of your kitchen hands to do it for you. Don't palm off all the work when the food critic turns up, though...

Things will get even more complicated when the Fortified Chef Competition comes to town! You'll need to cook up a storm in front of a panel of tough-as-nails critics to win the show and get yourself some serious cooking credibility. Don't expect them to go easy on you - the whole game's served up with a healthy dollop of humour reminiscent of Family Guy.
