At the beginning of the game, you are a former US Navy pilot hired by a Private Military Company to perform a large variety of air combat missions all over the globe. As the story unfolds, you will get more and more involved in the battle for global military supremacy while fighting to decide its outcome.

There are several modes of play available, both on and offline, Versus and Team Deathmatch just two for example. Some of the most modern, lovingly rendered and impressively detailed planes are there for the choosing too: Saab, Boeing, Dassault and Eurofighter Typhoon are just a handful of the famous names on offer.
