Summary


While most publishers have shied away from light gun games over the last few years, Namco Bandai has just kept 'em coming. The 2008 offering is Time Crisis 4, the title's PS3 debut in the on-rails arcade shooter series.

While most publishers have shied away from light gun games over the last few years, Namco Bandai has just kept 'em coming. The 2008 offering is Time Crisis 4, the title's PS3 debut in the on-rails arcade shooter series.

So... guess what? You'll never get it, so we're just going to tell you. The world needs saving! To help out, players can get involved as either Giorgio Bruno or Evan Bernard, members of the V.S.S.E., a global world-saving outfit. They're off to see to W.O.L.F., a terrorist group set on getting its paws on a new biological weapon going by the name of Terror Bites.

New to the game is an FPS mode. For the first time players will be able to roam free as a console-exclusive character in five new levels.

Of course, a host of other modes is available. There's classic Arcade mode, Full Mission, which enables players to make their way through a mix of Arcade and FPS levels, Crisis Missions, which set players up with quick-fire tasks, and assorted minigames.

The Guncon peripheral has had an overhaul for the game. It now features dual analogue sticks for playing with camera angles, switching out weapons and controlling your character's movement.
