Summary
In Final Fantasy II for PSP, a long-lasting peace is at an end. The Emperor of Palamecia has called forth monsters from the underworld and begun his campaign for world domination. In the Kingdom of Fynn, a rebel army rises to combat the threat, but their castle falls to an all-out assault by the empire. In Final Fantasy II for PSP, a long-lasting peace is at an end. The Emperor of Palamecia has called forth monsters from the underworld and begun his campaign for world domination. In the Kingdom of Fynn, a rebel army rises to combat the threat, but their castle falls to an all-out assault by the empire. Left with little choice, the rebels beat a hasty retreat to the remote town of Altair. In the ensuing chaos, four youths orphaned by the empire are forced to flee from Fynn, but they will soon find that the empire is not so easily escaped.
Final Fantasy II has been re-tooled for the PSP with re-drawn graphics and improved audio, and features two dungeons not seen in the NES version in the shape of Arcane Labyrinth and Arcane Sanctuary. Also new to the PSP version is a new boss, new equipment and new enemies. There is a gallery of artwork included, featuring the work of leading illustrator Yoshitaka Amano. << less
