Summary

A follow-up of sorts to SOS: The Final Escape from the early noughties, Raw Danger chooses not earthquakes this time, but flooding as a disaster scenario from which you - playing as the central character - must find safe passage. The city is surrounded by mountains, the ocean, rivers that have burst their banks, and it's 'persisting it down' with rain. Torrential is the word. The dangers are myriad: bridges have been washed away, flash floods are common, and collapsing buildings bar all routes to safety.

You must be able to react to the deadliest situations in an instant: throughout Raw Danger, you are called upon to make multiple choices as you encounter both people and potential obstacles. You also have to watch out for your own well-being and put your survival skills to the ultimate test. If you spend too much time in the cold and wet (which can happen in Raw Danger, Sherlock…) your health and energy will decrease, along with your body temperature. In this case, you must find a warm, dry space to recover, and possibly gather together whatever scraps of food are available to sustain you.

In the end, players must run, climb, jump, and crawl their way out of this devastated city, while constantly trying to piece together information from emergency broadcasts and other victims of the flooding.
