Summary

Any time you're feeling a bit long in the tooth, like too many years of life are starting to grind you down, take a look at Kaim, the main character of Lost Odyssey. Any time you're feeling a bit long in the tooth, like too many years of life are starting to grind you down, take a look at Kaim, the main character of Lost Odyssey. Anything you've been through, he's been through ten times over. That's what comes of being 1,000 years old. We just hope he didn't have to go through puberty more than once.

Lost Odyssey throws players into the world of Kaim, an amnesiac immortal faced with a world on the brink of a mystical industrial revolution. Things kick off as Kaim survives the impact of a meteor on the planet's surface. From there, players must control Kaim as he attempts to uncover the secrets of his past, while three other immortals do the same. Uncovering the forgotten events of the last millenium could prove to be the key to stopping a dark plot that threatens the entire world.

The game hails from Mistwalker, the developer behind Blue Dragon, and had a production team headed up by legendary producer Hironobu Sakaguchi, a man who's pedigree includes the fathering of Final Fantasy.

The game promises a deep, rich RPG experience powered by the Unreal Engine 3. It blends MMO elements into the traditional RPG formula in a game of epic proportions. << less
