Summary

Published by Xplosiv Software, KAZook for the PSP is a bizarre collection of 30 addictive mini-games. These range from dance games to racing games, shoot'em ups to beat'em ups - each offering a variety of game styles and each with its own challenge. In short, there should be something in this package for even the most discerning of gamers.

KAZook is not just a place to party but a state of mind that balances on the edges of dreams and fantasy. Getting into the mad state of KAZook means opening your mind to the possibility that absolutely anything could happen, and it usually does. To become a KAZook master, you will have to make your way through the numerous strange party games, that include fighting crazed sumo wrestlers, piloting out of control UFOs, facing killer zombies and causing havoc at a pool party full of glamorous models.

There are 16 different playable characters to choose from, including scary Goths, skater kids, sexy beach babes and hardcore gangster rappers. There are three solo game modes: Normal Mode - battle through each mini-game one-by-one unlocking various hidden levels and bonuses; Survival Mode - play through all the mini-games lasting as long as possible; and lastly Party Mode - take on the challenge of completing all the mini-games to ultimately become party superstar. The controls for all the mini-games are very simple, which obviously allows gamers of all abilities to get straight into the action.

There are 27 mini-games that can be played by two players using the PSP's Wi-Fi feature. Five of these mini-games can be shared with other consoles using only one game UMD. There are six further mini-games that can be played hot-seat on one PSP (two players on one machine).

KAZook is a package that represents extremely good value for money. If you are a fan of party games that have a strange twist then we can certainly recommend this title.
