Pangya's roots lie in the exotic realms of online gaming in Asia, and it brings a (dare we say it) quirky sense of fun to the Wii. Rather than playing with the likes of Tiger Woods, you'll be playing with a large cast of cutesy and eccentric manga-like characters, ranging from young ladies in extremely short skirts and bikinis to silver haired muscular men.

You can also kiss goodbye to thoughts of close-to-life courses. Instead, you'll be knocking shots between floating islands, dodging windmills and bouncing your drives between pyramids.

As with any good sports game, a multiplayer option is present and accounted for. There are three multiplayer options to try your hand at, two of which allow up to four players to compete with one remote.

Pangya also offers more depth than Wii Sports golf, with a dozen or so 18 hole courses to play through. The sizeable roster of characters also offers a high level of customisation, with tons of new outfits and accessories made available as you progress through the game. << less
