The Wiimote really comes into its own here, no messin'. Those familiar with Wario Ware Twisted will appreciate the rapid gameplay experience Smooth Moves offers: you have no choice but to think fast and get physical!
In single player mode, you travel around a map of Diamond City, selecting one of the characters to adventure with. Each character introduces you to a new type of gameplay and a different selection of microgames. Familiar faces from the Wario Ware series return, such as Wario and Mona, as well as new characters like Young Cricket and Kung-Fu Trainee. Once inside the microgame, you will follow your chosen character's story and complete a variety of tasks. If you are successful in fulfilling all the tasks, additional mini-games and multiplayer options featuring the Smooth Moves cast become available.
Several multiplayer modes are available for selection in Smooth Moves. Go head to head in Star Nose where one player uses the Wii Remote and the other the Nunchuck to fly a nose-shaped spaceship along a corridor, making sure not to touch the walls. There are more multiplayer games too. Darts, Lifeline, Balloon, Bomb and Bungee Buddies are all available to frustrate and delight in equal measure. There really is something for everyone in Wario Ware: Smooth Moves. Whether you're shaving off someone's whiskers or putting teeth in an old lady's mouth (!) it's the perfect title with which to entertain your friends and maybe baffle the family. << less
